STORY DISPATCH#10

What happens on this route?

Mongolia’s steppe looks empty until Cappy learns how to see at its scale. A travelling ger, skilled young riders, truly wild horses, a freezing desert, a two-humped camel, dinosaur fossils, a cold capital, and a colossal silver monument enlarge his idea of home and distance. His last wrong turn lands him in Naadam, where being a clumsy beginner does not prevent him from being warmly included.

The transboundary Uvs Nuur Basin ranges from salt lake and wetlands to steppe, desert, forest and tundra, with mountain habitat for snow leopards.
