In Bhutan, Cappy first hides from the dragon on the flag, then learns to look beyond appearances. A protected forest, the wonderfully singular takin, a hand-directed city crossing, fiery food, national dress, a serious question about well-being, returning cranes, and one rare blue flower all challenge his quick conclusions. His highest detour teaches the gentlest lesson: a treasure does not have to be picked to be remembered.
